Preventing Runny Eyeliner

 Preventing Eye Liners to Run
Preventing Eye Liners to Run

Eye liners are usually applied in the morning at the same time you put on your foundation and blush.
So it is no surprise that in the afternoon, you would already notice that it would already start to run, or create some residue that is not only noticeable but embarrassing as well.

To prevent this from happening, right after you put on the eye liner on both your upper and lower eye lid, start blinking rapidly about 5 consecutive times.
Yes it seems awkward but what this does is it shakes of the initial residue already which you can clean. But if none fall, it is alright because you have done a pretty good job in carefully placing the eye liner just enough to not leave stains.
So, to become more confident that it will still hold it shape for the rest of the day, grab a pack of petroleum jelly.
With your finger, gently wipe it under your eyes where you usually find the running streaks and residue. This not only stops the streaks but also gives your eye is an added shine. Just wipe off excess Vaseline with a napkin and you are done.

Not only did you use a cheaper make up accessory but also learned a valuable tip that will help you maintain your look longer in the day.
